development
The world needs clean energy. But that doesn’t mean unbridled development of renewable sources. At Tribus Clean Energy, we believe in taking a responsible approach to how we develop the new sources of energy that will power all of our homes and workplaces.
Tribus is one of very few businesses with a proven track record of success in the development of large scale solar and battery projects. Yet, despite the size and scale of our developments, we go to great lengths to balance the various needs of stakeholders such as investors, landowners, regulatory bodies, and local communities.

Setting high standards
Of course, there are stringent planning and regulatory requirements that every developer of renewable energy sites must meet.
Tribus goes further. We also set high standards for ourselves in ethical working practices and the development of good community relations.
Community engagement
As part of our community engagement commitments, we take the formal and informal consultation processes required by law very seriously. We want to be good neighbours, to work with local people, and to aim to do whatever is practical and possible to address any concerns that are raised.
By working with leading consultancies, we actively seek opportunities to enhance our projects so that they fit in with their surroundings.

Generating power.
Enhancing biodiversity.
Our projects have a beneficial effect on biodiversity. This is achieved simply by using the land in a way that enhances the habitats of wildlife species and natural plant life. Light farming use is also possible in many instances, with grazing under solar panels quite common.
Working with communities
Wherever we work, we take our responsibilities seriously, working with local communities and carrying out extensive consultation to minimise impacts.
Proven in practice
We’re good at what we do and have a track record to prove it. Take a look at our successful projects.
